Selected Resources on California Native Americans webpage now available

The Selected Resources on California Native Americans page is now available at the following link: http://library.csus.edu/services/inst/California%20Native%20Americans.html. The site is intended to act as a Sacramento State University Library-specific resource to finding books and journals articles on California’s Native groups. It is not a comprehensive listing of resources by any stretch of the imagination. Users can search specific tribes via an image-map (used with permission from the Smithsonian Institution’s Handbook of North American Indians 8, California), an alphabetical list, or a generally North/South listing of tribes as well.

Entries on the page are either books or articles. In each instance they should link to the appropriate EUREKA (the CSUS Library Catalog) record or JSTOR persistent URL in order to allow easy access to the information. The page also includes some web links to other resources related to California Native Americans and Native Americans as a whole.

If you are doing further research on California Native Americans, Native Americans, or other topics related to Anthropology/Ethnic Studies you can always contact Reza Peigahi, Anthropology and Ethnic Studies Librarian, via this link. In addition, remember to access search tools via the Anthropology Database Page and Ethnic Studies Database Page.
