The University Writing Center will again offer evening tutoring in the Library. The hours for fall 2009 are 6:00pm-9:00pm Mondays and Tuesdays and 6:00pm-8:00pm Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Sessions are held in Library 3501A.  Make your appointments through the Writing Center:  writingcenter@csus.edu

Even when the CSUS Library building is closed, you can still use the Ask-A-Librarian 24-hour chat reference service.  It is linked at the right of the Library Home Page  http://library.csus.edu/.  Just click on chat!

The large computer lab on the 2nd floor of the Library will be closed until January 14th for upgrades. While the good people at IRT make those changes, please use the computers on the 3rd floor or in the Library Collaborative if you would like to use any production software. The research stations on the 2nd floor are still available for public use.

Have you been looking for a computer to write that 20-page paper due at the end of the semester? Look no further! Starting November 10th, Library Room 2024 will be a computing lab. Please note the lab may be closed from time to time for previously scheduled instruction sessions. Other that those times, the room has 30 computers with all the standard production software just waiting to be used.

Open lab dates: November 10 - December 18
Hours of operation: 9:00 am - 5:45 pm 
Days open: Monday - Thursday

As a result of the scheduled power outage affecting the Library building (and many other campus buildings) due to the construction of the Recreation and Wellness Center, the following library systems will be unavailable on Saturday, November 1st from Midnight until 7:00am .

PROSPECTOR and the Locate Print &eJournals will not be affected since they are hosted at the Chancellor’s Office in Long Beach, CA.
