"Thank you for visiting the Robert T. Matsui Legacy Project website. Throughout his life, Bob was dedicated to improving our country. Whether it was as a young lawyer or as a member of Congress, he always stood for integrity, fairness, and decency. The material presented on this website will serve as a small and appropriate reminder of how far our nation has come over the years. I hope that Bob's words and deeds continue to inspire everyone who believes in equal rights, social justice, and compassionate public policy for generations to come."
